[Update] Workshop on ”Autonomous Agency, Health Promotion, and Technology Design”

On Friday, September 12, 2014, the workshop ”Autonomous Agency, Health Promotion, and Technology Design” will take place. Guest speakers Soren Holm (University of Manchester) and Maartje Schermer (Erasmus MC) will give a presentation. This event is co-sponsored by the OZSW (Dutch Research School for Philosophy), and is connected to the research projects ”Promoting Effective Intentions: Volitional Scaffolding, Implementation Intentions, and Bedtime Procrastination” at the University of Utrecht, and to our own project ”Medical Trust Beyond Clinical Walls” at TU Eindhoven. The theme of the workshop is how we define and operationalize autonomy, health, mental illness and the practical self for the design of supporting technologies for health and wellness.”¬†More information can be found on the workshop page on the OZSW website.
